Committed to Change: Lessons Learned and Steps Forward

As time progresses, change gradually happens. Learning is a challenging process, but it doesn't always mean experiencing difficulties. Amidst these challenges we experience, we must always remember that these lessons we learn will not be in vain, as these play a part in nourishing our minds, allowing us to grow, gather information, and let us find new and exciting opportunities. Throughout the first quarter of learning, I gained a lot of knowledge, particularly involving the internet, including its history and how it evolved over time. I also gained practical experience by creating a blog account, which helped me understand the process of organizing information and responsibly sharing it online. Furthermore, I learned new things about the various forms of blogging and social media. I additionally explored the World Wide Web, learning about its components and how domain names are categorized. Finally, I also discovered the different key figures who contributed to the evolution of the Internet, which gave me a greater appreciation for the technology that connects us all.

In spite of these learnings, I also faced challenges, which are bound to happen. One significant issue I have encountered was working with slow, malfunctioning computers as well as the internet during class, which hindered my chance to complete my activities promptly. Additionally, I also had a hard time grasping certain technical concepts, especially when I was trying to create and manage my blog effectively.

To address these issues, I learned to be patient and manage my time efficiently by doing the things I can do as much as possible when working on my activities. I also asked for assistance from my classmates when I had a difficult time understanding specific technical concepts. I also found that practicing the steps to create a blog post  repeatedly helped me become more comfortable with the process in the making.

Moving forward, I will continue to develop the skills I have acquired in the first quarter. I will apply the lessons I have learned to maximize my learning in the next quarter. I will do my best to engage actively in class discussions, explore new concepts, and remain dedicated to my studies, aiming to make a positive impact in my community through my knowledge and actions. Most importantly, I will treasure the knowledge, skills, and values I have developed in the process of learning.
