Where Do We Go From Here?

As I write this blog for the last quarter of this school year, I’ve come to realize that this is it—the final stretch before a new chapter begins. This is our last year in junior high school before we step into the wider world of senior high, where new challenges and opportunities await. Just thinking about it feels so scary and thrilling at the same time. Looking back, this journey has been filled with lessons, struggles, and growth, shaping me into a more resilient and adaptable student.

This quarter, I learned how to use Microsoft FrontPage, which is a graphical editor that allows users to work in a "WYSIWYG" environment, and explored its different components, such as the View Page tab, formatting tools, menu bar, formatting toolbar, links, buttons, and more. We also discussed networks and their corresponding types, including Local Area Network (LAN), Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN), as well as the importance of LAN cables in establishing wired connections. Understanding these features helped me develop a better grasp of website creation and organization.

However, the process was not a smooth sail, it had its fair number of challenges. The major issues I faced included the computer desktop I was assigned to not working, which forced me to transfer all my files to another computer. Another challenge was having to edit my FrontPage project repeatedly because the outcome of my work often did not appear as expected on the web page. Unfortunately, network signal errors made the transfer difficult, adding to my frustration.

To overcome these challenges, I chose to be patient. Instead of waiting for my computer station to work without knowing when it would be fixed, I decided to start over. Although it seemed like extra work, it was ultimately a faster and more efficient way to move forward rather than being stuck in uncertainty.

Now that this final quarter is coming to an end, I turn the last page of this chapter, inked with lessons, challenges, and growth. Every struggle was like a plot twist—unexpected, sometimes frustrating, but necessary to shape the story. As I step into senior high school, a new chapter awaits, its pages blank and ready to be written. With everything I’ve learned, I hold the pen firmly, ready to script new experiences, embrace new adventures, and continue the journey of my own unfolding story.

It felt like a long road, but every step was worth it. :D
